Audio & Phonics Safeguards

Real-Time Scoring Only

Microphone audio is analyzed in real-time purely to calculate phoneme pronunciation accuracy and reading hesitation pauses. Audio is never used for commercial advertising, vocal profiling, or marketing.

1. Scope and Legal Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy applies to all services, web applications, and AI screening tools offered by LexiSense AI Inc. ('LexiSense', 'we', 'our'). It explains our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal and sensitive diagnostic data obtained from parents, children, educators, and pediatric specialists.

2. Categories of Information Collected

  • Account Identifiers: Parent or Educator name, username, email address, password hash, and optional school branch details.
  • Child Profile Details: Child's first name/nickname, age, schooling level, and language preference.
  • Biometric-Derived Telemetry (Gaze Tracking): Numeric X/Y gaze fixation coordinates, saccadic regression frequency, and line-tracking velocity. Camera video pixels are processed client-side via WebGazer and immediately discarded.
  • Audio & Speech Analysis: Transient phoneme accuracy scores and speech fluency latency.
  • Observational Screener Responses: Parent survey answers regarding phonological awareness, family history, and reading behaviors.

3. Security Architecture & Encryption

All persistent records are stored in enterprise-grade Supabase PostgreSQL databases safeguarded by PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS). Every query requires authenticated session tokens. All transmissions are encrypted with TLS 1.3, and resting records are encrypted with AES-256 standards.

4. Third-Party Sharing & Commercial Advertising

LexiSense strictly enforces a Zero Commercial Monetization policy regarding child and educational data. We do not sell, rent, license, or disclose student records to third-party advertisers or data aggregators. Aggregated, non-identifiable screening statistics may be analyzed solely for peer-reviewed academic validation of dyslexia phoneme models.
